Mihrab Lladro Figurine

The Mihrab is often considered the most holy place of a mosque, and indicates the direction of Mecca towards which the faithful pray. It is normally the most noble element in a mosquee, where the decoration is most elaborate and is the center from which beauty irradiates. It can be placed at home to indicate the direction for prayer, which is always towards Mecca. This wall is called the kibla in mosques.
